PURPOSE:To enable performance with harmony at all times by automatically adding a melody sound which is specified by a specifying means a specific time before as a canon to a melody sound specified by a melody sound specifying means and converting a melody sound which is the specific sound according to the relation between the sound which is the specific time before and a current chord. CONSTITUTION:The musical sound signal generating means 44 outputs a musical sound signal corresponding to the melody sound specified by the melody sound specifying means 43 and a chord specified by a chord specifying means 43. At the same time, melody sound information indicating the melody sound which is specified by the melody sound specifying means 43 the specific time before and written in a storage means is read out. This melody sound information is converted according to the chord represented with the read chord information and the chord generated by the chord specifying means 42 and supplied to a musical sound signal generating means. Consequently, a canon performance wherein a melody sound by the canon performance and the chord being played currently are harmonized with each other is automatically enabled. |
