A device for releasably holding an object in a stored position, the device including at least two walls 2 by which the object is held in the stored position, at least a part 4 of a face of one wall confronting the object when held presenting a discontinuous surface to the object, the discontinuous surface presenting to the so held object a contact surface area less than the surface area defined by the periphery of the discontinuous surface.
