PURPOSE:To produce oxide powder having a low aggregate content or multiple oxide powder having a uniform compsn. CONSTITUTION:A suspension prepd. by suspending a substance convertible into oxide by oxidation, e.g. a metal or its salt in a combustible liq. or an emulsion prepd. by emulsifying a soln. of the substance in the combustible liq. is atomized and the resultant mist is heated in an oxidizing atmosphere. By this heating, the substance is converted into oxide and the objective oxide powder is produced. |
