PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicide composition exhibiting excellent herbicidal activity and high herbicidal activity with a low amount of agent, having a wide herbicidal spectrum and a wide applicable period of season and also having high safety to crops. CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal composition is obtained by compounding (A) a triazine derivative of formula I {A is formula II (Z is O or S) or formula III [X<2> is methyl or F; n is 0-2]; R<1> is H or methyl; X<1> is F or Cl}, e.g. 2- amino-4-[1-(benzofuran-2'-yl)ethylamino]-6-(alpha-fluoro, alpha-methylethyl)-s-triazine and (B) a triazine herbicide of formula IV (X<3> is Cl, methylthio or methoxy; R<2> and R<4> are H, methyl or ethyl; R<3> and R<5> are H, 1-6C straight or branched alkyl or 2-cyanoisopropyl), e.g. 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6-isopropylamino-1,3,5- triazine(atrazine) as active components at the ratio of A:B=100:1-1:1000 (in weight ratio). |
