PURPOSE:To efficiently prevent a coloring matter-contg. material from color fading by adding a specific phenoxyalkanoic acid (salt) to this material. CONSTITUTION:A coloring matter-contg. material such as a synthetic colorant is incorporated with (1) pref. 0.00001-0.1 pts.wt., based on 100 pts.wt. of the above material, of a phenoxyalkanoic acid of the formula (R is H, halogen, hydroxyl, lower alkyl, lower alkanoyl or lower alkoxyl; n is 0-4; A is 1-5C lower alkylene) such as (+ or -)-2-phenoxypropionic acid (or a salt thereof) and, pref. furthermore, (2) pref. >=0.0001 pts.wt. of at least one kind selected from ascorbic acid, erythorbic acid and alkali (alkaline earth) metal salts thereof, thus preventing the coloring matter-contg. material from color fading. |
