PURPOSE:To provide a leukocyte-removing filter capable of quickly removing leukocytes in blood in high yield without lowering the blood flow rate. CONSTITUTION:This leukocyte-removing filter is a three-layer fiber aggregate filled in a housing. The average void diameter of the fiber aggregate is 5-8 mum and the void ratio of the aggregate is 0.7-0.9. The average pore diameter is 15-40 mum for the 1st layer, 8-15mum for the 2nd layer and 4-8mum for the 3rd layer and the packing volume ratio is 10-25% for the 1st layer, 10-25% for the 2nd layer and 50-80% for the 3rd layer. |
