LOCKING FITTING FOR HANGING BOLT

PURPOSE:To provide a locking fitting for a hanging bolt which is easily mounted on a deck plate and can bear even an excessive hanging load. CONSTITUTION:A locking fitting for a hanging bolt consists of a locking fitting body 8 locked on a rib formed on the lower surface of a deck plate and a female screw 12 provided on the locking fitting body 8 for suspending fixedly a hanging bolt 2 from the locking fitting body 8. The locking fitting body 8 gas an upper projection 9 abutting against one side of the rib 7, a lower projection 10 abutting against the other side of the rib 7 and formed below the upper projection 9 and a notch 11 formed between the upper projection 9 and lower projection 10 to receive the rib 7. A gap between the upper projection 9 and lower projection 10 is made wider than the width of the bottom of the rib 7. The female screw 12 is provided in the locking fitting body 8 on the lower projection 10 side.
