PURPOSE:To provide a heat transfer recording sheet, which has gloss or matte surface favorable in image quality and excellent in chemical resistance, and its forming method. CONSTITUTION:A heat transfer recording sheet concerned is formed by thermally transferring an overcoating resin layer 7 mainly made of a thermoplastic resin through heat resistant film 8 onto the whole surface or some part of a sublimation type heat transfer image receiving sheet, on which an image is formed. Due to the action of the transferred overcoating layer made of the thermoplastic resin, the uneven sparking luster and gloss of the recorded image is eliminated and the heat transfer recording sheet 6 excellent in chemical resistance and weatherability is obtained. |
