PURPOSE:To improve the appearance, eliminate the scattering of foamed layer at expansion and prevent faulty molding from developing. CONSTITUTION:An air bag door 20 formed in advance is set onto a mold 40, which forms the designed surface side of an instrument panel 16 of an instrument panel foaming mold so as to be covered with an instrument panel skin 32, which is set onto the mold 40. Instrument panels 30 are set onto a mold 42, which forms the rear surface side of the instrument panel 16 of the instrument panel foaming mold. At the same time, the air bag door 20 is pinched between the holds 40 and 42. Urethane foamed layer 28 is molded by pouring urethane between the instrument panel skin 32 and the instrument panel inserts 30 and then foaming it under the state just mentioned above. |
