PURPOSE:To convert the frequency scope to exercise the damping characteristics in a broad scope, to make the assembly easy, and to reduce the number of parts, by converting the flowable section area of an electric viscous fluid in a communicating passage by converting the applying voltage. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second supports 1 and 2 are connected each other by an elastic holder 3, and an electric viscous fluid E is sealed in a liquid chamber 5 between the supports and a diaphragm 4. The liquid chamber 5 is partitioned into a pressure receiver chamber 5a and a balancer chamber 5b by a partition body 6. The partition body 6 is formed of a pair of electrode plates 10 and 11 superposed each other, and the relatively opposing surfaces of them are cut off by an insulating member 12 so as to partition a communicating passage 13 to communicate the pressure receiver chamber 5a and the balancer chamber 5b. The section form of the communicating passage 13 is made in plural stages of recessed groove form, the interval between the opposing surfaces of the pair of electrode plates 10 and 11 is converted in three stages, and the flowable section area of the electric viscous fluid in the communicating passage is converted by stages by the stage control of the applying voltage, so as to convert the resonance frequency by stages. In this case, the conversion of the interval of the opposing surfaces may be made in no stage conversion, and furthermore, the conversion may be made to proportion the increase of the voltage and the decrease of the flowable section area. |
