PURPOSE:To enable elevator control suited to the demand for traffic by computing the number of passengers in a car or the number of passengers getting off the car, while taking into account the number of landing calls and the number of car calls, to which responses are given while the elevator is kept in a certain direction of operation. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic processing portion CP 20 for computing the number of passengers recalls the number of newly registered car calls from an elevator-service- hysteresis recording table CT 12 and an elevator control data table CT 13 to calculate the number of car calls. A signal to operate a weight switch(WS) is recalled from the table 13. An arithmetic processing portion CP 10 for computing the number of passengers in a car calculates the number of passengers in a car from the number of car calls and the WS operating signal while consulting a conversion table CT 11 for the number of passengers in a car. To calculate the number of passengers getting off the car, a signal to operate WS at the arrival on a starting reference floor is recalled from the table CT 13. Then the number of passengers in the car at the arrival (the number of passengers getting off the car) is calculated from the number of landing calls served and the WS operating signal while the table CT 11 is consulted. |
