PURPOSE:To provide artificial floating islands capable of being used in combinations accurately corresponding to using places such as lakes, marshes, rivers, seas or moats, natural environmental conditions, using purposes, etc., by forming each of the artificial floating islands in a shape capable of increasing the combination variations of the floating islands. CONSTITUTION:The artificial floating island is produced by receiving a plant growth substrate in a frame 1 formed in a triangular shape, fixing the peripheries of triangular nets 7 superposed on the upper and lower surfaces of the plant growth substrate, respectively, to the upper and lower surfaces of the frame 1, and forming plant-planting holes 8 in the upper surface net 7. The artificial island is floated on the water surface of a lake, marsh, pond, river, sea or moat, and plants are planted in the plant growth substrate through the planting holes 8. The planted plants grow on the plant growth substrate, and their roots and rhizomes grow through the plant growth substrate. |
