PURPOSE:To reduce shocks applied to a car in case of collision, and to prevent the car from turning sideways by a method wherein a buffer that works by shocks is provided to a road surface marking. CONSTITUTION:A road. surface marking 1, constructed of a surface part 2 with bump-supporting stands 4 provided to its rear side, and a bump-receiving stand 6 equipped with bump-receiving seats 5 on positions corresponding to the bump-supporting stands 4, is buried in a part for burying and fixing on a road. The bump-receiving stand 6 and the bump-receiving seats 5 are normally placed, being separated from each other. Therefore, visible height V of the road surface marking 1 becomes high, enlarging its area to be seen with good visibility. As a car runs onto the surface part 2, the bump-supporting stands 4 are pressed and fitted into the bump-receiving seats 5, lowering the height of the road surface marking, and thereby shocks to the car can be reduced. |
