MANUFACTURE OF PATTERNED ANGLE STEEL

PURPOSE:To easily form a rugged pattern on one outer side face of a rolled angle steel by passing a steel base stock through an L-shaped caliber which is formed with press rolls which consist of a pair of a rugged roll and a smooth roll and a pair of rolling rolls. CONSTITUTION:The L-shaped caliber is composed of a set of press rolls which consist of the rugged roll 50 and smooth roll 51 and a set of the rolling rolls 52, 53. The base stock 1 for angle steels such as a stainless steel is inserted into this caliber. It is screwed down in the vertical direction from the other outer side face 18 and inner side face 14 of the angle steel 1 with the inner vertical roll 52 and outer vertical roll 53 and inserted while being rolled in the longitudinal direction by driving the rolling rolls. It is pressurized so as to be hold between one outer side face 17 and an end face 16 of the rolled angle steel 1 with the press rolls which consist of the rugged roll 50 and smooth roll 51. By this press, the pattern of the rugged roll 50 is transferred on the outer side face 17 of the angle steel.
