Flexible plastic bellows - of opposing trumpet mouths (of ptfe) clamped to prevent collapse or excess extension

Bellows made from two segments of flexible sheet (pref. PTFE) like trumpet mouths clamped mouth-to-mouth between a pair of annular (metal) clamps which may be outside or inside the assembly. The other end of each segment is shaped to fit and pref. seal against flanges for assembling other components with the bellows in between. Pref. these adjacent flanges are linked by running tie bolts which limit the axial extension of the bellows. For pipework couplings etc. esp. for conveying aggressive chemicals. The design is better resistant to permanent collapse or inversion due to (temporary) internal/external pressure differentials than e.g. corrugated tubular bellows.
