PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of malfunction on the steering of an electromagnetic induction automatic traveling vehicle caused by the noise signal generated from an alternator driven by the rotation of an engine mounted on the vehicle by making a steering sensor insensible to the noise signal. CONSTITUTION:A steering control signal having a prescribed frequency is transmitted through an induction cable laid along a guiding path. An alternator 150 is placed at the back of an engine 10 and a pair of right and left steering sensors 26a, 26b for the detection of the steering control signal are placed in front of the engine 10 to increase the distance between the alternator and the sensors. The steering sensors 26a, 26b become insensible to the noise signal generated from the alternator 150 by this configuration.
