PURPOSE: To provide an improved method for forming a product using a molding machine and an improved constituent to be used in the process of forming the product using the molding machine. CONSTITUTION: A substrate 32a having an outer shape almost contoured along a specified design is provided and at the same time, a compensation part 37b fixed to the substrate 32a is provided. When an overmold material 37a is injected into the cavity of a casting mold, the substrate 32a is placed in the cavity of the casting mold in such a way that the compensation part 37b is positioned in a flow path for the overmold material 37a and after that, the overmold material 37a is injected into the cavity of the casting mold.
