PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording body having superior water resistance and pressure resistance in outdoor use and no background fog, realizing a high recording image density, and having a high adhesive strength of an ultraviolet- curing resin layer functioning as a protective layer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal color-forming layer, an intermediate resin layer, and an ultraviolet-curing resin layer are provided on a substrate in order. The intermediate layer is made of a 0.5-6.0g(dry)/m<2> coating layer obtained by using an aqueous coating agent, that is prepared by adding a pigment in an aqueous emulsion of a water soluble polymeric compound and/or a hydrophobic polymeric compound. The surface oil absorptivity of the coating layer is 0.1-1.0ml/m<2>. |
