PURPOSE:To obtain at a low cost in high yield and quality the subject compound useful as an insecticide by reaction between a specific thioate and a pyridinol in the presence of a catalyst in water as solvent under a weakly alkaline condition. CONSTITUTION:The objective compound of formula V can be obtained by reaction between (A) an o,o-dialkylphosphorochloride thioate of formula I (R1 and R2 are each 1-3C alkyl) and (B) a pyridinol or pyrimidinol of formula II (R is Cl, Br, F or 1-4C alkyl; M is H or alkali metal atom; X is C or N; n is 0 or 1-3) in the presence of (C) a tertiary amine of formula III or IV (R3 and R4 are each l-3C alkyl, or may form a ring bearing 3 to 5 methylene groups together with N atom; R5 is l-3C alkyl) in water as solvent under a weakly alkaline condition. |
