PURPOSE:To obtain a composition containing a polyphenylene ether-based resin and a polyamide resin in a specified ratio, excellent in moldability, solvent, oil and impact resistances, free from odor when kneaded and remarkably excellent in workability. CONSTITUTION:This composition is composed of (A) a polyphenylene ether-based resin having a structural unit to formula I (R1 is a 1 to 3C alkyl; R2 and R3 are each H or a 1 to 3C alkyl) in the main chain, (B) a polyamide resin, (C) a rubbery polymer and (D) a compound obtained as an additive reaction product between maleic anhydride and an arylalkane and represented by formula II (R4 is H or a 1 to 6C alkyl; R5 is a 1 to 6C alkylene; m is 0 to 5; n is 1 to 7). The components (C) and (D) are contained in amounts of 3 to 30 pts.wt. and 0.01 to 20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total weight of the components (A) and (B) respectively and the weight ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is 30/70 to 80/20. |
