EXTRACTS CONTAINING OF SAPHONARINE FROM THE ROSE OF SHARON

The preparation method of rose of Sharon (I) extract consists of (1) submerging 20-30 parts of the flowers, leaves, barks or roots of (I) in 70-80 parts of solvent at 20-30'C for 3-4 days, (2) filtering to get filtrate, (3) treating with 0.01-0.3 parts of pectinase, (4) heating at 70-80'C for 8-30 hrs to transparent extract. This extract is useful as yogurt or drink to calm bronchitis.
