Bag (1) made of heat sealable plastic, each of its walls (2) being provided, in a region (3) near to its opening (4) with at least one cut-out constituting the handle, and having, in the region (3) a reinforcement consisting of a fold (6) turned down on the wall (2) so that its free edge (8) is located between said cut-out segment and the bottom (14) of the bag, and a reinforcing piece (9) associated with the bag between the fold (6) and the wall (2), the cut-out segment (5) being entirely located in the region of the reinforcing piece (9), whereby the turned-down fold (6) is attached to the corresponding wall (2) along its free edge (8), opposite the cut-out segment (5) and over a distance at least equal to the size of said cut-out segment parallel to the bottom of the bag, process for the manufacture of said bag and installation for the implementation of this process. |
