The phone comprises a hook senser(6) for sensing on/off state of a hook switch(1) of a phone, a receiving off hook sensor(7) for sensing a receiving off hook signal transmitting from a telephone office when handset is misplaced, a system controller(8) for controlling overall operation of the phone system according to output signals of the hook sensor and the receiving off hook sensor, a off switch(9) for being connected between the hook switch(1) and a rectifier(2) to block phone lines in case of misplaced handset or connect phone lines in case of normal position.
