ADAPTIVE SPEECH COMPRESSION TRANSMISSION DEVICE

The device provides an adaptive speech compression and transmission to minimize the delay time by processing the speech signal according to the frequency band. The device includes: (a) frequency band distinction circuit(24) which separates the frequency band of the speech signal ; (b) an A/D converter(26) which converts the speech signal into digital signal; (c) data storage(28) which stores the converted speech data; (d) memoriey(30-1˜30-n) which store the group of speech data; (e) a speech sign converter(38) which generates a sign selection signal according to the frequency and the sign of transmitted part.
