For the contacting of solenoid fuel injection valves it is usual to contact the connection elements of the fuel injection valve with a crown-shaped connector housing. When attaching the connector housing to the fuel injection valve, however, the problem arises that, due to tilting as a result of inadequate axial centring of the connection elements, the latter are bent, so that in the worst case the fuel injection valve does not make electrical contact. For reliable contacting of a fuel injection valve (2) the said valve has a guide pin (50), which with its free end (51) projects beyond free ends (42) of the connection elements (40), so that before the introduction of the connection elements (40) into corresponding connector sockets (60) the said pin slides in a guide opening (61) in order to centre the connection elements (40) of the fuel injection valve (2).
