Flushing system for devices containing refrigerant

Known equipment for emptying and filling motor-vehicle air-conditioning systems do not permit replacement of certain refrigerants by others because they and the lubricating oils added to them are chemically incompatible. A proposal is made for a flushing system by means of which it is possible to wash out residues of one refrigerant and oil with the other refrigerant, which is used as the flushing agent, and at the same time to ensure that the refrigerant used as the flushing agent is regenerated. Use, in particular, for retrofit exchange of the refrigerant in motor-vehicle air-conditioning systems and also for cleaning dirty refrigerant circuits. <IMAGE>
