PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF 2-AMINO ETHYL HYDROSION SULFATE

2-Amino ethyl hydrogen sulfate is prepd. by dropping and reacting 2-ethanol amine 2-hydroxy ethyl carbamate in conc. sulfuric acid at 85-95C of fluidable temp. where equivalence of conc. sulfuric acid and 2-ethanol amine 2-hydroxy ethyl carbamate is about 1:1, and without adding an acidic catalyst; then promoting the crystalization by heating to 103 deg.C; and purifying with water and washing with methanol of 70% concent ration. The obtd. cpd. is useful as an intermediate of medicine or dye, and fiber treating agent.
