The showerbath has a bathtub (1) with a water outlet (3). The floor of the bathtub is covered with a zig-zag coil (11) of pipe through which the incoming cold water flows and is thus heated by the outflowing used water from the shower. The floor (23) on which the shower bath user stands is supported on vertical ribs (18,19) which extend upwards from the floor of the bath tub between the coils (11) of the cold water pipe. This arrangement provides a warm floor for the user to stand on. USE/ADVANTAGE - Showerbath with utilisation of heat in the used water without causing discomfort to the user.
