The apparatus monitors load current and detect over load current after comparing the rated current. The apparatus comprises; a current transducer(5) sensing load current; a rectifier unit converting the sensed current to dc value; a comparator unit comparing the dc value with the reference value; a buffer outputting the rated current; a switch unit(15) selecting the displayed frequency and current; a microprocessor performing the overload decision control; a display unit showing the rated frequency and current according to the microprocessor command.
