<p>An improved method for the N-terminal sequential degradation of proteins and peptides is disclosed. The protein or peptide to be sequenced is reacted with a compound effective to impart a tertiary amine functionality to the thiazolinone derivative of a cleaved terminal amino acid of the peptide.</p> |
