The invention relates to a window or door, having a frame (8) and a pane (9), in the plane of which glazing blocks, which are assigned to the boundaries of said pane and are intended for fixing purposes, are arranged between the frame (8) and the pane (9), and proposes that the glazing blocks be constructed from a base plate (5) and a wedge (1) resting thereon with surface contact, that the base plate (5) make contact with the frame (8) and the wedge (1) make contact with the pane (9), and that the bearing surface (2), resting on the base plate (5), of the wedge (1) be inclined relative to the adjacent boundary of the pane (9) and have a surface normal running in the plane of the pane (9).
