In this measuring device, the scale is located on the movable piston, the measurement results being read out via an external vernier without parallax errors. The drag piston (4) shows the maximum differential pressure and remains in the maximum position. The precise registration of the measurement results gives a reliable conclusion as to the contamination of the filter installations, in particular the monitoring of the maximum differential pressure using the drag piston is indicated, so that the penetration of dirt during economical long-term use is prevented.
