Method for the alignment of proximity switches with magnetic-field sensors in the installed state

The proximity switch or switches are permanently mounted and the respective triggering bodies are brought close to the proximity switch up to a defined spatial position which corresponds to a NOMINAL switching state. The ACTUAL switching state of all the proximity switches is then electronically interrogated and, if the ACTUAL switching state of a switch does not correspond to the NOMINAL switching state, the threshold value of this switch is corrected by changing the switching threshold of a switching device connected to the magnetic-field sensor until the NOMINAL switching state is reached.
