摘要 The present invention provides a method by means of which a microcomputer circuit 2 having a first, non-volatile memory device 4, a second memory device 6 and a processor 8, such as are used in a very wide variety of technical fields, can be programmed and reprogrammed in a simple manner. The fact that the first and second memory devices are optionally defined as program and data memories ("normal state") or, conversely, as data and program memories ("programming state") means that it is possible temporarily to store in the second memory device 6, via an interface device 10, a new user program from an external apparatus 16, and then to relocate (re-store) the said program into the first memory device - the non-volatile program memory in the normal state of the microcomputer circuit 2. Conventional microcomputer circuits can be converted with little outlay for the method according to the invention. For this purpose, it is merely necessary to connect a selection logic circuit between the microprocessor or microcontroller and the two memory devices. <IMAGE>
