The invention relates to plug connectors for rear-wall wiring systems, consisting of a male connector strip and a female connector strip, the individual contact springs being surrounded by electrically conductive screens which are connected to contacts which are fitted both on the rear-wall side and on the assembly side in an intermediate grid pattern and to which an appropriate potential is applied. The invention indicates various options for making contact between the screen in the female connector strip and the printed circuit boards which carry the screen potential. <IMAGE>
