<p>A dowel arrangement, in particular for furniture fittings having a dowel (10) which is designed in two pieces, has at least an approximately cylindrical shape in the mounted state and is provided on its outer casing with ribs (13, 14). The invention provides a clamping screw (1) which expands the dowel (10) and connects it to a mounting plate (2). The dowel (10) is composed of portions (4, 5) which are at the front and rear in the plug-in direction and are divided by an oblique parting plane (12) which cuts the longitudinal central axis (L) of the dowel (10).
