<p>PURPOSE:To easily and certainly correct the lateral shift of a tape, by providing a control means for moving a tape supply reel in a direction bringing the displacement of the tape in the lateral direction thereof to zero on the basis of the signal from a sensor detecting said displacement. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 5 on a light emitting side and a sensor 6 on a light detecting side for detecting the lateral shift of a tape are arranged to the tape delivery part of a tape supply reel 2 in opposed relation to both side end parts of a tape 10. The signal from the sensor 6 on the light detecting side is inputted to an analogue operator 11 to operate the lateral shift quantity and lateral shift correction data of the tape 10 and the operation result is inputted to a servo amplifier 13 to drive the servo motor 46 for the tape supply reel. By this method, a ball screw 109 is rotated and a reel member 113 is moved in the lateral direction of the tape 10 through a nut member 110, a connection member 111 and a holding body 112 to correct the lateral shift of the tape 10.</p> |
