PURPOSE:To obtain porous sheet material having excellent surface evenness, moisture vapor permeability and high-speed productivity in simple process by applying a resin composition comprising mixture of thermoplastic polyurethane resin solution and specific compound to a substrate and subjecting the substrate to wet treatment. CONSTITUTION:(A) A solution of a polymer mainly composed of a linear thermoplastic polyurethane resin obtained by reacting an organic diisocyanate with a polymeric diol and a low molecular weight polyfunctional hydrogen compound in an organic solvent is mixed with (B) A compound expressed by formula I [Y is O, S or expressed by formula II (R1 is alkyl) and preferably O; P1 is hydrocarbon group or acyl and preferably 1-13C alkyl or 2-18C acyl; n is 2-70 and preferably 10-50] and preferably having <=5 HLB in an amount of 0.1-100wt.% of the polymer A to obtain a resin composition. Next, the resultant composition is applied to substrate and said substrate is directly introduced into coagulation bath to perform wet treatment, then washed and dried, thus the aimed porous sheet is produced. |
