<p>1287358 Sintering machines SOC INDUSTRIELLE DELATTRE-LEVIVIER 13 May 1970 [15 July 1969] 23205/70 Heading F4B A sintering machine comprises an inlet hopper 1 for distributing ore on to a protective bed of previously roasted ore, introduced through hopper 3, on a movable grate 2, an ignition hood 4, a plurality of exhaust boxes 5 situated below the grate and connected to an exhaust fan 52, at least one cooling box 7, a crushing plant 8-11 situated at the end of the grate, and a neutral zone 6 separating the last exhaust box from the first cooling box, in the direction of travel of the grate. Beneath the neutral zone, are sealing means (see Fig. 3) which comprise an iron plate 23 placed on a support plate 24 having four internally threaded caps 26, four support bars 27 each of which can bear on an adjustable support 28 by way of a spring 29 and externally threaded lugs 33 at the end of support bars 27.</p> |
