A valve for remote-controlled connection of suction nozzle to a source of vacuum. The valve includes a valve house (10) with an inlet (11) and an outlet (12), which is arranged perpendicular to the inlet (11). It includes an oblong tube socket displaceably disposed in the valve house (10) which is equipped with a collar (13). The tube socket is connected at its one end to a suction hose, and is pressed in its closing position to bear on a resilient membrane (19) with its other end by the action of a spring member (18). The valve house (10) is provided with connection means (21) to a source of compressed air, which is provided to act on one side of the collar (13) to overcome the effect of the spring member (18) and remove said other socket end from the resilient membrane (19) at operation of the valve to an open position. |
