<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the shielding performance by simplifying the formation process for a grounding circuit to a car body of a shield cable to be accommodated in a molded protector for wire harness, and eliminating any part where sheath layer for the grounding circuit does not exist. CONSTITUTION:An exposed conductive layer 5A is provided on a shield cable 1 by exfoliating the insulative outer skin 4 of its sheath layer 3 in the intermediate portion of the shield cable 1, and by the use of a connection piece for grounding 6 having a contacting part 7 for the layer 5A and a connection part 8 for a car body 14, the connection part 8 is overlapped on the outside of a bottom plate 15 of a molded protector 10 for wire harness, and at the same time, the contacting part 7 is mounted while protruding to the inside of the molded protector 10. The exposed conductive layer 5A of the shield cable 1 is inserted in this contacting part 7 to generate connection, and then the protector 10 is fixed to the car body 14, and thereby the connection part 8 is pinched by the bottom plate 15 and car body 14 so that surface contact electric continuity to the car body 14 is generated.</p> |
