PURPOSE:To automatically allocate pages in the case of dividing a document whose pages are continued into plural document files. CONSTITUTION:When maintenance for the document contents of any one of document files is executed (steps S10 to S30) at the time of dividing and storing a document whose pages are continued in plural document files, page information before the execution of the maintenance is saved at the time of registering it (step S40) and page information obtained after the execution of the maintenance is acquired (step S50). At the time of judging (step S60) that the document file maintained based upon the acquired end page and the saved unmaintained page information is changed in each page, a page difference is calculated (step S70) and the page changing processing of other document files is automatically executed based upon the found difference (step S80). |
