PURPOSE:To decrease the number of keys and to easily and efficiently input Japanese ward by constituting operation keys for inputting the Japanese syllabary by using respective consonant keys and vowel keys indicating. the consonants in the 'a' rows of the 'k'-'w' series of a systematic table of the Japanese syllabary. CONSTITUTION:An operation part 10 consists of a Japanese syllabary input part 11 for inputting the Japanese syllabaries, code input parts 12a and 12b, indication parts 13a-13f, and a cursor movement indicating means 14. Then the Japanese syllabary input part 11 consists of the respective consonant keys 11a indicating the consonants in the 'a' rows of the 'k'-'w' series and respective vowel keys 11b showing the vowels, and the keys are arrayed in the series order and row order of the Japanese syllabary table. Further, a code input part 12 consists of a space key 12a for indicating the input of a blank and a full-stop key 12b for indicating the input of punctuation marks; and an input character is converted into a voiced character or semi-voiced sound with a special/sonant key 13d of an indication part and inputted Japanese is converted into KANJI (Chinese character) with a conversion key 13a. A determination/ carriage-return key 13b is used to determine converted KANJI or indicates a carriage return. |
