摘要 PURPOSE: To treat a complication of a dialyzing patient by selectively removing an inorganic phosphate from liquid by using adsorbent substance modified with a polynuclear metal oxyhydroxide. CONSTITUTION: For example, agarose, dextran or the like are used as a starting material to manufacture a carrier substance denatured by a polynuclear metal oxyhydroxide. Transition metal, for example, zirconium and aluminum is used as the polynuclear metal oxyhydroxide. Iron is used as advantageous metal. As an example, an iron chloride (III) and water are added to a dry dextran carrier, and they are agitated. After a suspension is swollen, it is put in a caustic soda solution, and agitation is continued. It is cleaned by using deionized water, and a dextran-iron-complex carrier is obtained. An inorganic phosphate is removed from a dialyzing fluid and blood plasma for a medical treatment by using this adsorbent substance. A device is composed of a cylindrical vessel B in which the adsorbent substance is filled and which has inflow and outflow ports, a blood tank A, a pump C or the like.
