A drive gear for a roller door operator

A drive gear (18) for providing drive from the output gear (17) of a door operator (10) to a door (D). The drive gear (18) comprises at least two sections (19) which combine together to form a gear wheel (21) and a mounting boss (23) the latter being used to mount the drive gear (18) with an axle or shaft (S) of the door (D). Locking fasteners (30) lock the sections (19) together after the sections have been combined together about the axle or shaft (S). The door operator (10) has a housing (11) which includes a recess (12). The axle or shaft (S) can be clamped to a mount (B) by a part of the axle or shaft (S) being engaged within the recess (12) when the housing (11) is fastened to the mount (B).
