<p>Curved broad-drawing roller without a rubber-lining has an axle consisting of flexible, sprung elements or fixed, curved elements on which separate tubular sections are closely positioned the front face of two such sections being connected by a flexible coupling. This serves torque transfer and consists of two separate interlocked annular journal or gear bearings and an elastic insert. The arrangement provides an effective seal which prevents the escape of lubricating grease etc., that can interfere with the bearings.</p> |
