PURPOSE:To provide thermal recording sheets in which head tailing to become a recording trouble at the time of recording is little, the amount of paper powder generated when recording sheets are cut is little and which has high recording sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording sheet comprises a recording layer containing basic dye and colorant and provided on a base sheet, wherein the layer contains a pigment having an oil absorption amount of 80ml/100g (based on JIS K 5101) or more, and adhesive of 10-25wt.% to an entire solid amount of the layer in such a manner that, as the adhesive, silicon modified polyvinyl alcohol of 20-70wt.% to a total solid amount of the adhesive is used. |
