<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a biodegradable plate-like raw material which is composed of a natural polymer and can be formed and fabricated by laminating a sheet consisting of fibroin, chitosan and glycerine. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is prepared by extending the flow of an aqueous solution containing co-existent fibroin, chitosan and glycerine and drying it. Next, the glyderine is removed by soaking a laminated sheet consisting of the sheets laminated in water, and the wet laminated sheet is dried using a hot press to obtain a plate-like raw material. The fibroin is used as a transparent material which generates wet thermal plasticity; the chitosan donates tenacity to the raw material and homogenizes the raw material by becoming compatible with the fibroin properly, and the glycerine enhances filming properties when adjusting the sheet and at the same time, enables an interlayer adhesion only by using a hot press, because the glycerine adsorbs moisture uniformly when moisture is added and thereby facilitates the movement of a molecular chain of fibroin.</p> |
