PURPOSE:To perform deburring-cutting work rapidly in a single operation by disposing a grinding wheel device in the three-dimensionally movable state at the tip of a foldable and turnable boom. CONSTITUTION:An operating room 1 is made travel along a rail 2 and positioned at the end part of a large-sized casting. A switch in the operating room is closed to rotate the grinding wheel of a grinding wheel device A in the fixed direction. An operating lever is then operated to actuate hydraulic cylinders 11, 12, and booms 10, 101 are contracted and turned to move the grinding wheel to the specified face at the end part of the large-sized casting. The horizontally placed grinding wheel is put in oscillating motion to perform the micro adjustment of the grinding wheel, and burrs remaining at the specified face of the large-sized casting are removed by this grinding wheel. In the case of the burrs existing in different directions, the grinding wheel is rotated being micro-adjusted in the horizontal direction. |
