PURPOSE:To provide a fuel feeder for a vertically mounded multicylinder engine, with which a required amount of fuel can be steadily fed to all of the carburetors, and with which the size and the layout of a fuel pump can be determined freely to a large degree. CONSTITUTION:The discharge part of a fuel pump 18 is arranged below an uppermost carburetor 12A and above a lowermost carburetor 12D, and at least two discharge ports of the fuel pump 18 are formed while a closed loop is formed by means of fuel pipings 23, 24 guided from each discharge port, and all of the carburetors 12A-12D are connected to the closed loop, and the upper fuel piping 23 is lifted upward from the fuel pump 18 toward the carburetors 12A-12D. The foam at least generated in the upper fuel piping 23 flows upward along the fuel piping 23 and disappears in the carburetor 12A. Even when any vapor lock effect due to the foam appears in the upper fuel piping 24, a required amount of fuel is steadily fed to all of the carburetors 12A-12D through the upper fuel piping 23. |
